Drums Along The Little Miami

Drums Along The Little Miami is a marching band contest taking its' name from the Little Miami River, a State and National scenic river, that flows through Loveland which is in the southwest portion of Ohio approximately 15 miles northeast of Cincinnati.

Drums Along The Little Miami is sponsored by the Loveland Music Boosters and is held at the Loveland High School Tiger Stadium.

The contest is sanctioned by the Mid-States Band Association (MSBA) and is a qualifying event for the MSBA Championships. Judging is by a panel of judges from the Central States Judges Association.

The 7th Annual contest is tentatively scheduled for September 28th, 2002.

A band may enter the competition in one of four (4) competitive classes according to the total number of wind and percussion members. The classes are as follows:

Class A	1-40 playing members
Class AA	41-65 playing members
Class AAA	66-90 playing members
Open Class	91 or more playing members

Awards will be made as follows:

First, Second, Third, & Fourth place trophies in each class
Grand Champion - Highest combined point total
Outstanding Musical Performance - Overall
Outstanding General Effect - Overall
Best Percussion - Overall
Best Auxiliary - Overall
